Well, everything currently has some sort of tip, even if it's only "No tips are available at this time." If a tip was bad enough, I expect it would be voted below "No tips are available."

Two things.

One) What's to stop that happening now? There's no other than one tip per ach now.

Two) The idea of this is people can submit tips on achievements already there. They currently cannnot do so without resubmitting the achievement, which is the main thing stopping most people. We don't want an absolutely cluttered tips box achievement database, now do we?

there should be some kind of database manager who can delete tips, merge tips etc. (offensive and double tips etc.)

reporting could also be usefull.

The most annoying thing about the Database on OrbMore is that it takes forever to submit achievements.

Bulk uploads would make it simpler. (Where you select many values in the one and same window).


So... You have a page like this, with submission boxes with these values:

That would mess up the search. If someone wants to find Fissure Finisher, but it's listed as Fissure Finisher! it would come up wrong.

I'm not entirely sure that's what you mean though.

You can not write achievement names like they appear ingame. The database according to others does not support all symbols.

Apostrophes cause a /, interfering with the URL.

Ex: http://achievements.orbmore.com/985/Diamonds+Aren/'t+Forever

This isn't a big problem because we have Achievement:
[achievement]Diamonds Aren't Forever

But an achievement without the the apostrophe can be linked to correctly.
http://achievements....rutal+Contender

Because of this error in the url, searching for them in the Database is also broken.

The slashes are a different issue, *not* the "I can't use any character halp!" problem. But I'll see what I can do.

I don't think there are any achievements with characters other than ' and !, but ! doesn't error anything.
