Look on the sides. Those are tags.

I don't play ss a lot, but I think tags are awards from matches like "most kills".

And you don't know what a tag is?

A tag is only good for showing off and achievements.

Every game you get many tags (well sometimes yo udon't, but you generally do). You'll get things like "most kills" if you've killed the greatest number of people, "Perfect" if you don't die and satisfy a few other conditions, "Most energises" if you energize the most in Fleet, and Boss Killer if you destroyer Ba'al or the Babel in Co-op.

There's 32 tags, but one is only available during Halloween.

There's lists of tags on this site somewhere, and how to get them.

Some achievements are things like "get five of one tag" so you could get 5 longest time with MGFN's or 5 perfects, if you're crazy.

Others say get 50 of 25 different tags, which is also obvious.

Some say get 100 of a few different types.

So yeah, they're useful for achievements and that's pretty much it.

Oh, and if you get 250 of one type, it just says "max" and that's it
